The Club previously hosed Dubai Duty Free Irish Open, the renowned Arnold Palmer Cup and is set to host the prestigious Walker Cup 2026. This Championship Links Course is one of the best courses in the country and often described as the St. Andrews of Ireland.

The Walker Cup - Lahinch 2026
Lahinch is hosting this years renowned biennial men’s amateur tournament The Walker Cup in 2026 and Lahinch Coast Hotel looks forward to hosting teams, sponsors and coaches.
About The Walker Cup
Established in 1922, The Walker Cup is a prestigious international match bringing together leading amateur male players from Great Britain and Ireland and the United States of America for the biennial contest.
The Walker Cup has been played by many of the sport’s greatest golfers and selection to play in the historic match is often regarded as the highlight of an amateur’s career. Past competitors include Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Collin Morikawa, Sir Michael Bonallack, Padraig Harrington and Rory McIlroy.
Lahinch will become only the third Irish course to play host to the Walker Cup when it stages the match between Britain and Ireland against the United States in September 2026.
Trump International Golf Links Doonbeg
Located 30 minutes from Lahinch Coast Hotel, the world-renowned Greg Norman designed 18-hole championship course at Trump International Golf Links at Doonbeg which spans 1.5 miles of crescent shaped beach and century old sand dunes along Doughmore Bay.

Spanish Point Golf Club
Spanish Point Golf Club was founded in 1896 and overlooks the broad Atlantic. This 9-hole links course measures 5330 yards with a Par of 68/70 and a SSS of 67/69 and is suitable for all standards of golfers. It is situated on the Wild Atlantic Way on the N67. Having changed and adapted over time, it is playable all year round. The clubhouse has spectacular, panoramic views and located 15 minutes from Lahinch Coast Hotel.
